The advisory board is appointed by the Mayor and City Council to provide advice and gathers input on topics brought to the Board by the City government or that the Board has identified as issues and opportunities that should be brought to the City's attention. There is usually an opportunity for public comment and volunteers also participate in project teams of the Board.
