This move intentionally brings community activation to the corner of 9th Ave SW and SW Henderson, adjacent to the site of ACHD’s future Seattle International Public Market development proect expected to break ground in late 2027. Led by African Community Housing & Development (ACHD), our markets prioritize farmers, food producers, and artisans of color.

We operate as a true nonprofit market charging no vendor fees, so vendors keep 100% of their earnings. In partnership with local organizations, we also provide free food, wellness resources, and community services, distributing thousands of dollars in food and resources at each market. We hope you can join us on opening day, or anytime during the season, as we advance food justice, health equity, and economic development in Southwest Seattle through a community-centered market model.
