Detailed Description: As New York Times obit writer Margalit Fox says, “Obituaries have next to nothing to do with death and absolutely everything to do with life.” Death notices have been written to be shared for thousands of years.
They’ve changed because our attitudes about death have changed. Now, humor is not out of place. In this workshop you will learn about the history of obituaries, tips on writing them, and the importance of having one.
